Service description

YTDownload.pro is a free web tool that retrieves public YouTube videos, Shorts, audio, and thumbnails on your behalf. It works only with videos that anyone can play without signing in. No account is required, nothing is hosted on this site, and no download history is kept.

Section 2

Your responsibility

Download only content you own, have permission to save, or that is licensed for reuse, for example under a Creative Commons licence. YouTube’s Terms of Service restrict downloading content except where YouTube provides a download option or the rights holder permits it. You are solely responsible for how you use any file obtained through this site.

Section 3

Prohibited use

The service is for personal, non-commercial use. You must not:

• circumvent access controls or technical limits of the service or of YouTube;
• use bots, scripts, or bulk and automated requests;
• redistribute media in a way that infringes the rights of its owner.

Section 4

What the service does not access

The service does not bypass private, members-only, age-restricted, or live content. Such videos are reported as unavailable, and no attempt is made to sign in or to work around YouTube’s restrictions.

Section 5

Copyright and takedown requests

Rights holders can send a takedown request to [email protected]. Please include:

• the URL of the YouTube video concerned;
• a description of the copyrighted work;
• your contact details;
• a statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.

Content may be blocked from the service after a substantiated complaint.

Section 6

No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is offered as is, with no warranty and no uptime guarantee. Changes on YouTube’s side can break downloads without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of this site or from any file obtained through it. If you use the site as a consumer, nothing here removes the protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised at any time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
